About the Band
Billed as "the West Coast's premier zydeco band," the Zydeco Flames are a long-running Bay Area group led by vocalist and rubboard player Lloyd Meadows, with Frank Bohan (guitar), Bruce Gordon (accordion), Timm Walker (bass), and William Allums Jr. (drums).
Performing for roughly three decades, they released six studio albums between 1993 and 2006, won "Best Zydeco Band" from the West Coast Blues Society, and have played the San Francisco Jazz Festival, Sacramento Jazz Jubilee, and Seattle's Bumbershoot. Fun fact: five of their songs were featured in the video game The Sims Unleashed.

This concert features a Family Fun Zone with activities for kids including bounce houses and more—arrive early to enjoy the fun before the music starts!
What to bring: Blankets, lawn chairs, and picnic baskets are encouraged. Food trucks and beverage vendors will be available on-site.
Parking: Free parking is available at Pleasant Hill City Hall and surrounding areas.
